Science at St Matthew's

We are Scientists!

This year is going to be an exciting year of science at St. Matthew’s. There are so many amazing scientific discoveries in the world around us and this year we’re aiming to provide the children with a science curriculum that is relevant, practical and inspiring.

Who knows how many future astronauts, surgeons or physicists we have at St. Matthew’s!

The term has blasted off with our rocket mice investigation. The children have been exploring how high they can make a mouse fly using milk bottle rocket launchers.

With prizes for the keenest scientist from each class, and brand new science books to use, it has been a thrilling start to the year!
