Suffolk Young Carers

Young carers are children from the age of 5 who are caring for someone in their family who has a physical disability, long term illness or problematic use of drugs or alcohol.

Young carers may be caring for, or supporting, a parent, sibling or grandparent.

Assemblies will be held in school to raise awareness amongst our pupils.

The Suffolk Young Carer Advisor for St Matthew’s is Jess Searle.

If you would like to have an informal chat with Jess,

please call 07827 836 202.

The Suffolk Young Carer link person in school is Miss Stuckey and she  happy to talk to you.

If you would like further information or if you feel a referral would benefit your family please contact Miss Stuckey on 01473 251614.
