The Geography curriculum reflects our multiculturalism and diversity as a school, whilst including lots about Great Britain too. The book 'Maps' by Mizielinska and Mizielinski is often used as an introduction to new areas of study. World maps are displayed in every classroom and used as an ongoing point of reference. For example, identifying the birth place of authors, scientists and artists. This helps pupils make connections with their learning.

We have been tweaking the Geography curriculum this year and are in the process of drafting the scheme of work, embedding the progression of skills and knowledge and compiling key vocabulary lists. This process will be complete by the end of the school year and published on our website in September 2022.
