Home Learning

Whilst the school is closed, please continue to support your child with learning at home. We would recommend establishing a simple daily routine. Maybe start the day with some exercise followed by more academic activities. Class teachers are posting activities on dojo at least three times a week and you can also access daily lessons at  https://www.thenational.academy/ and https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons. There will also be daily whole school dojo messages flagging up useful websites and activities for all ages. Many of these will include links to work aimed specifically at your child's year group.

We're sure you accept that learning at home is very different to learning in school. Our curriculum is practical and thematic and teachers adapt lessons to meet the needs of specific children. It is impossible for us to provide this type of support while school is closed. However, please feel free to add things to your child's portfolio on class dojo and staff will endeavour to give feedback as appropriate.

Happy learning!
