PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education)
PSHE is taught as a discrete lesson throughout the school, often responding to current events in the news or to situations in class as they arise. Every year group keeps a PSHE scrapbook to show what the children have been learning. RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) is taught in line with statutory guidance during the final half of the summer term. Parents were involved in the consultation process and are offered access to the planning / resources before the units of work are taught.
The PSHE curriculum is enhanced by working in partnership with other local agencies including Suffolk Mind, OneLife Suffolk and the police.
